FLAT PACK
Device Project in Level 6 2023-24
For this project a device was created for the host building and existing site of the major design project. The aim of the device was to develop skills and sensibilities as a maker and to encourage interaction and experiencing the site in a more direct, personal, tactile, and experimental way. I wanted to open up conversations with the current social structure of the site, by creating flat pack step stools that could be connected to each other, encouraging the act of building and working together to create a piece of furnitecture that could be used to sit, stand on, have conversations under and bring people together.
